Construction of Pacific Lakes Village commenced in August. “The Village Lakes and Show Homes are really starting to take shape and we expect the Show Homes to be open for viewing from February 2019. Interest in the village has far surpassed our expectations” says Mark Vincent, Pacific Lakes Village Business Manager.
A key point of difference to this village is the eco-friendly touches that have been incorporated throughout. Central to the village is the creation of its own ecosystem, via a series of waterways, fed from rainwater and natural aquifers that will support the regeneration of plant and birdlife. The community lakeside pavilion is designed to operate off the grid with its own solar power and rainwater recycling systems. In addition, there is a market garden, commercial glasshouse, climate-controlled growing house, and a variety of fruit trees scattered throughout, enabling residents to grow their own produce and connect with nature. In addition, homes are prewired for solar with the option to add a solar package and enjoy the benefits of solar energy.
The stunning three bedroom, two bathroom homes are designed and positioned to make the most of the beautiful village surroundings and lakes. Each home has an internal-access garage with carpet and are fitted with a designer kitchen with engineered stone benchtops, emergency call system and LED lighting. The first stage of development also includes the Lake Pavilion, a spacious community hub featuring a café, bar and lounge and the Village Green, a multi-purpose green where residents can partake in bowls or croquet or practice their putting.
Pacific Lakes Village will have plenty of options for staying active, including a gymnasium, outdoor gym circuit, pétanque, tennis and aqua-centre.
